An Orient man was caught driving drunk without a license on County Route 105 Friday, according to a state police news release.

Samet Ilgan, 31, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed driving, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of at least .08 percent and unlawful possession of marijuana, state troopers said. Mr. Ilgan had been pulled over for “moving from his lane unsafely,” according to the news release.

He was released from police custody with a future date to appear in Riverhead Town court, police said.
