Photos: ‘Becky’s New Car’ to premiere at North Fork Community Theatre
Steven Dietz’s comedy “Becky’s New Car” will open Friday, March 4, at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. Performances will continue Fridays-Sundays through March 20.
The story line: Becky, stuck in a stagnant marriage and middle age, meets a socially inept and grief-stricken millionaire. Suddenly she’s offered the chance at a new life, and she explores what it might be like to travel the road not taken.
The production is directed by Bob Kaplan and produced by Susan McCabe. The cast features Scott Butler, Catherine Maloney, Matthew Orr, Marissa Russo, Lon Shomer, Alan Stewart and Marguerite Volonts.
Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. A free reception will be held at 7 p.m. opening night, with wine tasting by Raphael.
