Catharine Goodfellow Bushnell

Former longtime Huntington resident Catharine Goodfellow Bushnell of Peconic Landing in Greenport died March 31. She was 92. 

The daughter of Catharine (Howe) and James Richard Goodfellow, Ms. Bushnell was born March 17, 1924, in Seattle.  She attended college for two years at the University of Washington.

On Sept. 20, 1947, she married David Bushnell in Seattle.

Predeceased by her daughter Catharine in 2013, Ms. Bushnell is survived by her daughter Alison Murray Bushnell of Shelton, Conn., and her son, David Andrew Bushnell of Silver Spring, Md.

Interment took place at St. John’s Cemetery in Huntington.

Memorial donations may be made to Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport.

Arrangements were in the care of Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
