Cops: Hampton Bays man charged with DWI

A Hampton Bays man who drove through a stop sign on Main Road in Peconic was arrested for driving while intoxicated, Southold Town police said. 

Alexander Mosier, 40, had also failed to maintain his lane of travel when police stopped him about 7:47 p.m. Monday, police said. An investigation revealed Mr. Mosier was intoxicated and he was arrested for misdemeanor DWI and transported to police headquarters for a morning arraignment, police said.
