Photos: ‘Urinetown’ at North Fork Community Theatre

This summer’s Youth on Stage production at North Fork Community Theatre will be “Urinetown: The Musical,” which will open Thursday, July 21, at the Mattituck theater.

Performances are set for Thursdays-Sundays through Aug. 7. The musical, directed by Brett Chizever, is a political and social satire that borrows from such musicals as “Les Misérables” and “West Side Story.”

John Bradley is music director; Michele Messinger and Susan McCabe are co-producers.

Show times are 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. A free opening reception sponsored by Lombardi’s of Mattituck will begin at 7 p.m. on July 21.

Admission is $20, with student rush admission of $15 offered 10 minutes before curtain, if available.
