Flooding, road closures reported as thunderstorm moves through area

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the area through 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

New Suffolk Road between Cedars and Grathwohl roads remain closed as of noon Saturday after one car attempted to pass the flooded street and became stuck.

Peconic Lane just north of the train tracks is closed due to a fallen tree.
