Antone E. Mileska of Mattituck died Aug. 4, 2016. He was 94.

He was born July 11, 1922, in Mattituck to Charles and Emily (Cybulski) Mileska and was a 1941 graduate of Mattituck High School and a 1953 graduate of Indiana Technical College.

From 1942 to 1945, Mr. Mileska served as a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps.

On June 3, 1951, he married the former Jean Tuthill at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck.

For 30 years, he was an engineer with Fairchild Republic in Farmingdale.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Tuthill Mileska; two children, Paul Mileska of Mattituck and Ann Miller of Virginia; three siblings Louise Ruland, Frances Mickaliger and Bertha Mileska; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers John, Joseph, Edward and Stanley and sisters Mary, Helen, Betty, Lillian, Emily and Anna.

The family received visitors Aug. 8 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 9 at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, officiated by Monsignor Joseph W. Staudt. Interment with U.S. Marine Corps honors followed at Sacred Heart R.C. Church Cemetery in Cutchogue.
