Michelle Janine Schiavoni

Michelle Janine Schiavoni was taken from us on July 10, 2017, at the age of 27.

Born Feb. 26, 1990, Michelle attended Southold, Riverhead and Greenport school districts. With her kind and accepting nature, she made many friends.

“Shelly Bean” enjoyed music, thrift stores, and watching movies with friends. Naturally creative, she often handmade cards for family members on special occasions, although her real passion was for animals, especially her cats.

Michelle’s wonderful sense of humor, beautiful face and sweet smile will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Michelle is survived by her heartbroken parents, Terra Carlson of Southold and Frank Schiavoni of Greenport; stepfather, Dwayne Carlson of Southold; sister, Marissa Aubin and brother-in-law Brian Aubin of Saranac, N.Y.; brother, Alex Carlson of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; grandfather, Fred Martin of Southold; grandmother, Carmela Schiavoni of Greenport and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A cremation service will be held Tuesday, July 18, at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.  Rosary service will be held by the St. Agnes Rosary Society, with prayer service led by Father James Atkins of St. Agnes Church in Greenport.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor Michelle’s love of animals with donations to the Southold Town Animal Shelter or S.A.V.E.S. North Fork.
