Complete voters guide for North Fork school budgets, elections

Voters in all five local school districts will be asked to vote on the 2018-19 budgets and more this Tuesday.

Polls are open from 2 to 8 p.m. in Greenport and Oysterponds and from 3 to 9 p.m. in Mattituck, Southold and New Suffolk.

In both Southold and Greenport three candidates are running for two open seats. In New Suffolk, a write-in election is being held for one spot on the school board. There is no contested race in Mattituck or Oysterponds.

Greenport voters will also be asked to pierce the state property tax cap.
