The Village of Greenport is doing repairs on Fifth Street ahead of an upcoming PSEG paving project.
The work is set to begin no earlier than 8 a.m. Saturday, May 12 and is expected to be completed no later than 6 p.m. The project includes the remediation and replacement of curbs and accessibility ramps along Fifth Street, according to village officials.
Tree removals are scheduled to take place on Fifth Street on Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18.
Both of these improvements are in conjunction with an upcoming PSEG paving project, which is currently slated for either the first or second week of June, officials said.
The work is weather dependent, the village noted.
