Peter M. Clark

Peter Mark Clark of Greenport died Jan. 22 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. He was 59.

He was born Nov. 1, 1959, to Mary Belle (Fountaine) and Henry A. Clark.

Mr. Clark attended high school before working for Clark’s Carpentry for over 30 years. He was a member of AA and the Baymen’s Association. Family members said he loved the water, clamming, fishing, scalloping and family gatherings. He was a loving, kind, dedicated brother, uncle and godfather, they said.

Predeceased by his parents, Mr. Clark is survived by his brothers, Skip, John, Jeff, Timmy and Jamie, and his sisters, Lucy Clark and Margaret Lellman.

Visitors were received Jan. 25 at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.

A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Jan. 26 by Father Richard at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport. Interment followed at the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
