Ruth Joy Borst

Ruth Joy Borst of Rocky Point, formerly of Southold, died at home April 15. She was 97 years young.

Ruth was born Sept. 6, 1921, in Brooklyn, to Emma (Schiffman) and Edwin Borst.

She was a beloved aunt and friend to all who knew her and is now reunited with her dear friend Julia Hopf. She will be greatly missed.

A future memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations in her name may be made to North Fork United Methodist Church.
