With snow coming, Southold Schools will delay Tuesday morning opening two hours

The district informed students and parents Monday evening that classes will be delayed Tuesday morning by two hours. The latest U.S. Weather Service estimates say up to 5 inches of snow is possible on the North Fork, with temperatures rising into the mid-thirties by 9 a.m. and rain likely.

New Suffolk Schools will delay opening until 10:30 a.m.

Beyond the schools, Southold Supervisor Scott Russell said late Monday all town offices will be on a two-hour delay Tuesday morning. He said the Town Board work session will begin at 10:30 a.m.
