John J. Van Bourgondien

John J. Van Bourgondien of Southold passed away at home on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. He was 96 years old.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. at Saint Patrick’s R.C. Church in Southold, officiated by Father Abraham Thannickal.

Interment with U.S. Air Force Honors will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southold American Legion Griswold-Terry-Glover Post 803 or Southold Fire Department would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
