Mattituck-Cutchogue Little League held its first ever opening day parade on Saturday, beginning at Veteran’s Park and ending at the Bay Avenue ball field. Guests marching with the players included Southold town supervisor Scott Russell, Assemblyman Dan Losquadro, members of local fire departments and the NY Islanders Ice Tour.

An opening ceremony followed the march and featured formal introductions of all teams, the Pledge of Allegiance and several ceremonial first pitches of the season. The New York Islanders treated kids to a bouncy house and organizers held raffles and auctions to raise funds.
