Both the Harbourfront Deli and The Loft restaurant in Greenport Village have served their last customers.
Owner Perry Angelson closed both businesses Sunday and sold the Front Street building Thursday. He has owned the deli for nearly three decades and opened the second-floor restaurant 11 years ago.

The Soundview Inn and Restaurant in Greenport, which since its humble beginnings in the 1930s has become an iconic North Fork waterfront business, is on the market for close to $14 million, but the Levin family says it’s not actively looking to relinquish ownership.
Town and Country Real Estate has the 5.5-acre property listed for $13.9 million, but that’s merely an attempt to “test the waters,” said Rachel Murphy, who with sister Ellen Wiederlight operate the business their father, Jack Levin, 104, built up from the small beachfront concession stand named “Jack’s Shack” he operated at Southold Town Beach.
“Everything is for sale, but the family is testing the waters,” said Ms. Murphy. She described the real estate listing as “an exploratory move. I’m operating the restaurant like I’m going to be here for another 20 years.”
In 1953 Mr. Levin purchased the Sound Shore Motel adjacent to the SoundView Restaurant, which was built in 1949. Mr. Levin acquired the Soundview in 1968. The property now includes the 45-room motel, restaurant and catering facility, as well as an adjacent 10-unit apartment building.
