Looking for something to do this weekend? Try one of Main Road Red’s picks

BARBARAELLEN KOCH PHOTO | Try one of Main Road Red's picks for things to do on the North Fork.

Haven’t figured out what you’re doing this weekend?  Here are some suggestions.

There’s a fundraiser for the IRIE therapeutic Horseback riding program tonight, which helps kids with special needs. Ticket information available here.

Clovis Point is having a Wine and Chocolate pairing Saturday and Sunday. While you’re at Clovis Point, pick up a copy of the latest Long Island Wine Press and read about Wine and Chocolate — “The new wine and cheese.”

Spring is in full swing and there are a number of nature walks happening.  Check out this one, starting in Riverhead and this one, taking place at Hallockville Farm.

There’s a beach cleanup taking place at Reeves Beach in Riverhead on Saturday morning from 7-11. Sponsored by the East End Surf and Fishing club.

Want to participate in a tradition dating back to the early 1900s, while supporting a great cause?  Check out the Great Waiter Race. You can enter a team, sponsor one or just go to watch. Signed regulation sheet and entry fee of (a minimum) $50 dollars must be received no later than 5 p.m. Saturday by The Market at 44 Front St., Greenport.
