As 2015 comes to a close, so does Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s three-part minimum wage increases. As of Dec. 31, New York State’s minimum wage will be $9 an hour, a 25-cent increase from the current rate. READ

It was a magical high school baseball season for Southold. The First Settlers won their first Suffolk County championship since 2003. They captured what is believed to be their first regional title, advancing to the New York State Class C semifinals.
