Who has higher levels of extra sensory perception, men or women? Can a parent identify his child’s scent on a t-shirt? Will rocks and sand really turn dirty water clean? The answers to these and other questions were on display at Southold Elementary School’s first ever Art/Science/Technology fair on Thursday night. Students in grades kindergarten through six investigated everything from how to make the perfect cookie to whether or not water can conduct electricity. In addition to the traditional science fair displays, the fair featured the Shipwreck Cove Art Show and demonstrations of the latest in educational technology.
