Former longtime Southold resident Marion (Ivy) Voelbel of Rogersville, Tenn. died March 9 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. She was 94.

She was born Feb. 14, 1920, to Murdo and Mabel MacLeod Crichton. Ms. Voelbel lived in Southold from 1971 to 1993 and worked as a secretary at Southold Savings Bank for over

Ms. Voelbel was predeceased by her husband, Henry and is survived by her daughter, Susan Dalton of Rogersville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister Catherine Johnston and her brothers, Alister and Donald Crichton.

The family received visitors March 11 at Broome Funeral Home in Rogersville, Tenn. A graveside service took place March 12 at McKinney Cemetery in Rogersville.
