The Orient Fire Department will host its annual pancake breakfast Sunday morning at the firehouse on Main Road.
Tickets cost $10 and include pancakes, eggs, bacon, home fries, sausage, fruit salad, coffee, tea and juice. Tickets will be available at the door.
The next day, firefighters will march in the department’s annual Memorial Day Parade.
The Orient volunteers will begin at 7:30am at the Orient Firehouse, head south down Tabor Rd and through Orient Village. They will stop at each monument to lay a wreath and say prayers, said Fire Chief Bob Haase.
After the parade, residents are invited back to the firehouse for donuts and coffee.
