Isabel D. Trunce died peacefully at her home in the early hours of Monday, June 2. She was 88 years old.

She was born January 7, 1926, in Plains, Pa., to Adam and Helen (Burba) Remavich. As a member of Southold Sunshine Society and a volunteer at North Fork Parish Outreach, Isabel touched many with her easygoing spirit, kindness and humor.

Predeceased by her husband in 1970 and all of her seven siblings, she is survived by her daughters Patricia (Howard) Wolbert of Mattituck and Susan (Sandy) Hulse of Manorville; her son, Victor, of Southold and five grandchildren.
