Cops: Mattituck man busted for selling weed on Craigslist

A Mattituck man was arrested by Nassau County Police yesterday after he allegedly tried selling marijuana to an undercover cop through a Craigslist ad. 

According to police, 34-year-old David Boscola advertised several different strands of marijuana online, including “sour diesel,” “kush,” and “purple urkle.” Police then set up a meeting on Round Swamp Road with Mr. Boscola in Plainview around 9:30 p.m.

Police said that Mr. Boscola was taken into custody without incident after the bust.

He is charged with criminal sale of marijuana and criminal possession of marijuana.
