A man who allegedly burglarized Peconic’s Breeze Hill Farm around 5 p.m. Tuesday was caught on video by newly-installed surveillance cameras. Suffolk Security Systems, a security company based in Southold, posted a video of the suspect on its Facebook page Wednesday asking for the public’s help to identify him.
The theft occurred only a day after cameras were installed at the farm stand, according to the company’s owner, Paul Romanelli.
“This is the first time we’ve posted a video online to help police get more information,” Mr. Romanelli said.
