A Southold man was arrested in Greenport on Friday around 8 p.m. after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was discovered unconscious at the wheel on Main Street, according to Southold Town police.
Jason Stulsky, 37, was charged with DWI drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument, police said. He was found to be impaired by drugs and was in possession of fentanyl and a hypodermic needle, according to a press release. READ
Andrew Stulsky, 46, of New Suffolk was arrested last Wednesday when he was observed operating an unregistered electric moped in New Suffolk, according to Southold Town police. He was then found to be impaired by drugs and was arrested around 3:18 p.m. for driving while ability impaired by drugs. READ
• A Greenport woman called police when she noticed an unknown male in her bedroom Saturday around 2:24 a.m., police said. She said he may have entered her home through an unlocked window. READ
Southold Town police responded to a report of an intoxicated male urinating in the flower beds of a parking lot in Cutchogue on Saturday around 4:24 p.m., and the officer transported him to Mattituck, where he was trying to go, police said.
• A New Suffolk man said that multiple items were stolen off his front porch sometime in the last month, including a weed wacker, a kerosene heater and an air compressor, police said. The items valued about $250. READ
Jamie Winkelman, 33, of Mattituck, was arrested for petit larceny, a misdemeanor, around 2:30 p.m. Monday, after he was seen stealing liquor from a store in Cutchogue, police said. READ
Southold Town police received multiple reports of people peddling door-to-door in Mattituck and Southold Tuesday afternoon.
Officers advised the peddlers that they must obtain proper permits from Southold Town before soliciting at people’s doors. An additional report came in at 6:20 p.m., according to a report. READ
• Cesar Cardoza, 39, of Copiague was arrested for DWI after he hit a parked vehicle on Wickham Avenue Friday, police said. READ
A Greenport man was arrested for trespassing Monday, according to Southold Town police.
An officer on patrol observed Robert Lehmann, 66, on Claudio’s property, who had been warned previously he is not allowed there, police said. He was arrested around 5:30 a.m., was unable to make $100 bail and was held for arraignment, police said. READ
Police and the Southold Fire Department responded to a fire at a residence in Southold Sunday around 1:30 a.m., police said. Two jet skis on the side of the residence were on fire, and the owner’s son was attempting to extinguish it with a garden hose, the report states. READ
Five teens were injured in a crash in Southold last Saturday while driving on Cedar Beach Road, according to Southold Town police. READ
