* The SASS Foundation for Medical Research will host its third annual Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday, May 1, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at East Wind Inn and Spa in Wading River. The program will include speeches by renowned physicians, a doctors’ “Town Hall Forum,” workshops and a showcase of support services and resource groups. The forum is free. Call 516-365-7277.
