Car runs up guy wire in Mattituck

The woman who drove a late model Mitsubishi Lancer up a utility pole guy wire in front of the Mattituck Shopping Plaza on the Main Road at about 9:45 Thursday morning walked away unharmed, said Southold Town Police.

Police could not yet explain the cause of the accident.
