Cutchogue-New Suffolk: Support Boy Scout Troop 39 at its wreath sale Dec. 10

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s easy to let yourself get run-down. Don’t! Focus on your health and boost your immunity with simple practices like singing along to your favorite music, spending time with pets, fixing a warm, hearty stew or soup and smiling!

Smiles will abound while you shop for a special something for that someone special at Cutchogue Presbyterian Church’s Christmas Bazaar and Antique Show this Saturday. Dec. 10, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adults and children 10 and over can learn to make a paper Victorian Christmas ornament on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Old Town Art and Crafts Guild, 3 to 5 p.m. To register, call 734-6382.

Candles, candles burning bright mark the many birthdays being celebrated in New Suffolk on Dec. 11. Happy birthday to Dick Sullivan, Andy Hedges, Christine Stulsky and her niece Angela Prindle Kohl.

Boy Scout Troop 39 will be selling wreaths outside the Mattituck and Cutchogue post offices on Saturday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The decorated 22-inch wreaths are $15 and proceeds help support troop activities for the coming year. The scouts thank you in advance for your support.

The Friends of Cutchogue New Suffolk Library invite you to their annual Christmas open house on Saturday, Dec 17, 2-3 p.m. Dune Grass will perform music of the season and homemade cookies and apple cider will be served. Come enjoy the spirit of the season!

Teens: Put on your party clothes for a special night celebrating Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah, Saturday, Dec. 17, 7 to 10 p.m. at the Southold Town recreation center. The event is sponsored by The Guidance Center and Communities That Care. For more information, call 664-9886.

Cutchogue Fire Department’s annual Christmas tree and wreath sale has begun. Quality Fraser firs are available in various heights starting at $45. Wreaths are $12 plain and $15 decorated. Roping and grave blankets are also for sale. Proceeds benefit the CFD Panthers Drill Team. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Free local delivery is available.
