Cops: Southold woman charged with DWI

A Southold woman was arrested Sunday night for driving drunk along Route 25 in Mattituck, Southold Town police said.

Cynthia Murray, 24, was stopped by an officer at 9 p.m. after police received a report of an erratic driver on the roadway, according to police. She failed several roadside sobriety tests, police said.

Ms. Murray was charged with misdemeanor aggravated DWI and ticketed for failure to maintain a lane, police said. She was transported to Southold Town Police headquarters and held overnight for a Monday morning arraignment.
