During February, you can be “one in a million” by pledging to take up a challenge to make heart-healthy choices. Start with the ABC’S: Ask your doctor if you should have an Aspirin every day and have your Blood pressure and Cholesterol checked and if you smoke, Stop. Eat a heart-healthy diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables, low in sodium and trans fat and take medication as prescribed. To learn more, visit

The Cutchogue Fire Department Chiefs’ annual Steak Night fundraiser will be Saturday, March 8. The cost is $30, which includes dinner and dessert plus local wine and beer. Tickets are available at the firehouse.

Cutchogue’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 15, from 2 to 6 p.m. For more information visit
