A Southold man was arrested early Sunday morning after he was caught driving out of his lane with his headlights off while drunk, according to a Southold Town police statement.
Noah Smith, 21, was pulled over while headed north on Main Street in Greenport about 4:10 a.m., police said. Mr. Smith had allegedly “failed to use his designated lane” and had his headlights turned off, according to the statement.
He was found to be intoxicated and arrested at the scene. Mr. Smith was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
