Cops: Mattituck man charged with DWI
A Mattituck man was charged with driving while intoxicated after failing to stay in his lane on Route 25 early Thursday morning, Southold Town police said.
Egidio Morataya, 38, was driving a 1999 Toyota pickup truck eastbound on Route 25 at 12:53 a.m. in Mattituck when he was stopped by police, according to a press release. He was charged with misdemeanor DWI and he was transported to police headquarters, police said.
