Cops: Wading River man charged with DWI in Peconic
A Wading River man was arrested on a drunken-driving charge late Saturday night after he was observed leaving his lane of travel, Southold Town police said.
Matthew Ogorman, 20, was traveling westbound on Route 48 in Peconic about 11:30 p.m. when he was stopped by police, according to a press release.
After failing several roadside sobriety tests, he was found to be intoxicated and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, police said.
He was processed and held for a Sunday morning arraignment.
