Audrey M. Dinizio

Audrey M. Dinizio of Southold died Oct. 15. She was 90.

She was born Nov. 18, 1928, to Bertha (Gaffga) Wolfteich and Gilbert Thompson in Greenport.

Ms. Dinizio graduated from high school and married Louis A. Dinizio June 6, 1948, in Greenport.

She made a career as a medical assistant with Riverhead Medical Specialists for 15 years and was affiliated with the Riverhead Moose Lodge.

Ms. Dinizio is survived by her husband, of Southold; her children Gary (Lois) Dinizio of Riverhead, Susan (David) Haas of Mattituck, Christine (Michael) Franke of Southold and Wayne (Sheila) Dinizio of Mattituck; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitors will be received Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport, where a service officiated by Pastor Tom MacLeod will follow. A committal service will take place Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Sterling Cemetery in Greenport.

Memorial donations may be made to the Southold Fire Department.
