Southold supervisor to deliver State of the Town address Aug. 13

Southold Town Supervisor Al Krupski will give his third annual State of the Town address Aug. 13 at the Peconic Landing Community Center in Greenport. The address begins at 7 p.m.

Mr. Krupski plans to review the town’s accomplishments in 2025 and provide updates on short-term rentals, the cell tower law, water conservation, affordable housing, public safety, land preservation, the communications task force, aircraft noise and the recent cyberattack. He will also discuss the town’s goals for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.

“We have a wonderful, energetic town, and I’m so grateful to work alongside the passionate staff and volunteers who take such great care of our community and visitors,” Mr. Krupski said in a statement announcing the State of the Town.
