Final touches are currently underway at Mitchell Park Marina in preparation for the tourist season.
Boaters are already reserving slips at the marina in preparation for the warm weather and the marina is expected to open on May 15, retiring village administrator David Abatelli said during Monday’s work session.
A new shed to enclose the power distribution panels located on the west side of the marina office should be completed by April, he said.
The village has also upgraded the electric system at the marina an effort to lure mega yachts to Greenport Harbor.
