Longtime Southold resident Frances E. Moran died Sept. 30 in Westhampton. She was 91.
Born April 25, 1920, in Amityville, N.Y., to Francis and Helen Edgette, she married Andrew J. Moran Sr. on Dec. 26, 1941, in Rockville Centre.
She worked as a registered nurse and, according to family members, was a gifted artist and a member of The Old Town Art & Crafts Guild in Cutchogue.
Predeceased by her husband and her grandson Andrew Joseph, who died at age 8, Ms. Moran is survived by her children, Andrew Jr., Francis, Ellen Crescenzo, Charles, Bruce, Jean Berardi, John, Christopher and Claire Heilman; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold, Father Peter officiating, followed by interment at the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, or Church World Service.
