Meredith Willson’s classic musical “The Music Man” will be presented by the McGann-Mercy Theatre Company Thursday to Saturday, April 30 to May 2, at Bishop McGann-Mercy High School in Riverhead. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

The show, inspired by Mr. Willson’s boyhood in a small Iowa town, features the songs “Till There Was You,” “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “(Ya Got) Trouble” and “Goodnight, My Someone.”

Admission is $10.

The May 1 performance will be preceded, at 6 p.m., by the annual Mercy on a Mission pasta dinner. Admission for dinner and the show is $15; dinner alone is $10. Dinner proceeds benefit the theater company.
