Letitia Elizabeth (Tish) Bishop was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Queens, N.Y. A former Southold resident, she passed away peacefully April 16, 2012, in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the age of 71, surrounded by her family.

Tish was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Edna Sheridan of Laughing Water in Southold, and is survived by her four children, Cathy Bishop, Ellie Bishop (Dave Stevenson), John Bishop and Mike Bishop (Sandy); her brothers, Tom Sheridan (Kathy) and Mike Sheridan (Sandy); and her three grandchildren, Zena Stevenson, Hannah Stevenson and Anastasia Bishop.

Services were held Friday, April 20, at Messenger Indian School Mortuary in Scottsdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tish’s name to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Ariz.
