I do not like it here or there; I do not like it anywhere. I do not like the cold and snow. I do not like it, you all know. So let’s all hope this soon will pass. I just want to see my green, green grass!
One of the most prestigious accolades to be bestowed on a high school basketball player is nomination for the McDonald’s All-American team. I’m so pleased to report that Greenport High School can now boast one such athlete on its team. Congratulations to senior Dantré Langhorne, who learned of his nomination last week. Stay tuned right here to see if he makes the final cut! Congratulations, Dantré!

It’s always nice when family comes to visit and this weekend was made extra-special when my sister-in-law and her husband, Joy and Ralph Navarro, traveled down from Marlboro, Mass., to spend the weekend with Jim’s parents, Marie and Jim Dinizio.
