Doris Suskevich

Doris Suskevich of Peconic died Nov. 22 at the age of 82.

She was born to Steven and Hannah (Prestot) Plaskowitz in New York City on Jan. 30, 1929.

A former resident of Queens and Floral Park, she had lived on the North Fork for 33 years.

Ms. Suskevich is survived by her husband, Walter; three children, Larry, of Peconic, Warren, of Floral Park, and Georgiann McRedmond of East Islip; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, George Plaskowitz.

The family received friends Nov. 25 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. Religious services were conducted by Father Peter Garry of St. Patrick R.C. Church.
