ELIH makes Love Lane the site of its annual Snow Ball

The TWIGS (Together We Inspire Growing Support) branch of the Eastern Long Island Hospital Auxiliary held its “Diamonds and Burlap” annual Snow Ball dinner dance on Friday night at Love Lane in Mattituck.

The black tie event drew about three dozen people who kept warm in a tent erected on Love Lane, which was closed to traffic.

According to event coordinator Constance Connor, the Snow Ball was inspired by ice houses and the pleasures of being outside in the winter.

Entertainment was provided by guitarist Avi Rothbard and bassist Dmitri Kolesnik.
