Peconic Landing to open doors for free programs during Active Aging Week

Who says slowing down has to come with age?

Peconic Landing in Greenport is offering free health, wellness and educational programs for Active Aging Week from Oct. 5 to 9, aiming to promote healthy, active living at all ages. 

Chair yoga, Zumba classes, walking tours, bocce and dance lessons are on the free docket open to the public.

“We’re excited to welcome the greater community to Peconic Landing for Active Aging Week,” CEO Robert Syron said. “The week reflects the energy and enthusiasm that define our community, with opportunities to move, learn, connect and try something new. We invite all of our neighbors to join us and discover the many ways to support an active and engaged life.”
