And in Texas earlier this month, K-9s Grunt and Neil, who were trained to track critically missing persons with dementia for the Refugio County Sheriff’s Office, were strangled to death by a suspect they were tracking.  A Southold man was arrested in Greenport Friday around 8 p.m. after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was discovered unconscious at the wheel on Main Street, according to Southold Town police.

Jason Stulsky, 37, was charged with DWI drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument, police said. He was found to be impaired by drugs and was in possession of fentanyl and a hypodermic needle, according to a press release.  READ

An East Moriches man was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated in Mattituck Saturday.

According to a police report, an officer on foot observed William Sinclair, 31, driving a 1997 Dodge westbound in the village of Cutchogue at a high rate of speed with a headlight out at approximately 12:15 a.m. READ

A Riverhead man was arrested Tuesday in connection to two recent burglaries at Greenport businesses.

Southold Town Police arrested Juan Lopez, 44, on two felony burglary charges for break-ins that occurred at Front Street Station and the Parapsychology Foundation last week. READ
